Polytechnic Lecturers Ends 9-Month Strike

A time for Polytechnic students to celebrate.

After 9 months, the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics has suspended its strike. The lecturers began their strike on the 4th of October 2013.

Chibuzor Asomugha, The National President of ASUP, confirmed the news toPunch today and that the lecturers would resume work on Tuesday.

He however said that the strike had only been suspended for three months, as the government is expected to meet the demands of the association.
