“Today we take a big step in improvising the plight of internally displaced persons in Nigeria through our partnership with the Nigerian Red Cross Society. My colleagues and I have followed closely the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross society and I must confess that we are inspired and excited at the chance to support this cause.” 2Face said at the event.

A few months back, a track titled – Break the Silence, was released by the Million Voices for Peace campaign. Proceeds from the sale of the song will go towards supporting the work of the Red Cross Society of Nigeria.

Nigerian singer Essence was also present at the event.
