IS attack on Ehyptian millitary left 100 IS fighters dead - Army commander

Army chief said the fight between the IS fighters and the millitary on Wednessday left 100 IS fighter dead.

He stated that the Egyptian army are still in control of the city despite the cordinated attacks by Islamic State.

About seventy fighters simultaneously attacked five checkpoints in the area on Wednesday, the sources said, adding that at least 22 of the fighters were killed and three of their vehicles were destroyed.
