The young singer who happened to have a somewhat horrible experience as a little child, chose to put her past behind and to allow herself be totally absorbed in her “new person” concept. Narrating her early life story, Nicki asserts that the effect of her father’s addiction to alcohol and other drugs, alongside his violent temper greatly geared up her zeal to change the kind of life her parents knew. “I’ve always had this female-empowerment thing in the back of my mind because I wanted my mother to be stronger, and she couldn’t be” she said.
