According to the Anambra State Police Commissioner, CP Usman Gwary said, the command would not want anything that could jeopardize investigations adding that four suspects had been arrested for the kidnap of the late Iloenyosi.
The Octogenarian’s family was planning his 80th Birthday bash for 28th November 2013, but the hoodlums stormed his house on the 25th November and whisked him away.
When the information flew out, the State Police Command deployed over 700 policemen to comb all the nooks and crannies of the state in search of the man, but all to no avail.
The family was also made to part with 1.5 million naira as ransom by his abductors which they declared insufficient before the man died.
One of the daughters of the deceased and a well known politician Hajia Chinyere Oguguo-Agagbo was all tears yesterday and could not be consoled by the husband Okpoka Agagbo and relations.
She was reigning courses on the people who perpetrated such act imploring God to show the wicket that he was in control of the universe.
Two of the suspects, who was shielded from reporters by Security Operatives in order not to derail investigations confessed to have kidnapped the man in November 25, 2015.
