One of the noticeable absentees in the English 23- man-squad is Arsenal's Theo Walcott who is ruled out due to injury.
For Ghana, coach Kwesi Appiah has selected a list of 26 players which will be trimmed to 23 after they have played the Netherlands in a friendly on 31 May.
Among the squad are 22-year-old winger, Christian Atsu, who joined Chelsea in September from Porto.
Atsu spent this season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem where he made 28 appearances and netted five times.
FormerChelsea midfielder Michael Essien is also included in the Ghanaian squad that would face a tough group stage in Brazil, with games against Germany, Portugal and the USA.
