Photos: BringBackOurGirls: Atiku & Tinubu Join Campaign But...

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and his former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday joined the Bring Back Our Girls campaign.

The duo lent their support to millions of people on social media by carrying a #BringBackOurGirls placard.

However their photo went viral as their own placard had a naira sign instead of the hashtag which is being used for the campaign. Continue after the cut...

But Atiku took to his twitter handle to disclose that the photo with the naira sign was an edited version of the original one he posted which had the hashtag (#).

Reacting to the recent video posted by Boko Haram showing the abducted girls, Atiku said, we must do everything possible to bring back the girls as there is proof they are alive.

The #BringBackOurGirls campaign have been going on for more than two weeks since the abduction of the girls in Chibok, Borno.

There's been protests in South Africa, England, Ireland and Turkey, Washington DC, New York, Lagos, Abuja and many other cities and countries worldwide.
