Former CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been named the new Emir of Kano contrary to earlier reports that the late Emir's eldest son Sanusi Ado Bayero, had been named the new Emir. The announcement was made this evening Sunday June 8th by the Secetary to the Kano state Government, Rabiu Zakariya
