The seven-man impeachment panel reportedly met yesterday at J&J Holiday Villa in Yola, to begin the probe into the allegations of “gross misconduct,” leveled against the governor and his deputy.
The location is said to be heavily guarded by security. Journalists have also been prevented from covering the inaugural meeting.
Meanwhile, it is being reported that Nyako is considering resignation.
Ex Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, reportedly arrived in Yola yesterday to attempt to stop the impeachment from happening.
