Yay! Nigerians can finally get to watch the movie adaptation of “Half of a Yellow Sun“.
The publicist for the high budget production has confirmed to BN that theNational Film and Video Censors Board has cleared the Biyi Bandele flick.
As almost everyone knows, it has not been a smooth ride for the movie to be screened in cinemas in Nigeria. The last news we heard was that the NFVCB wanted the production team to cut out some parts of the movie.

The movie is adapted from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s best selling novel, and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Genevieve Nnaji, OC Ukeje, Onyeka Onwenu and Anika Noni Rose.
