HEALTH ISSUES IN A SIMPLE WAY 'THE HEALTHZONE' PREMIERES ACROSS THE COUNTRY ON CHANNELS TV

The HealthZone aims to combat these unfortunate statistics by educating everyday Nigerians about preventive care.

HealthZone, a 30 minute television health magazine program that focuses on the delivery of health education on the most common ailments affecting the Nigerian population, in simple terms that anyone can understand. The show features a panel of nationally and internationally acclaimed consultant specialists in each of the medical conditions of focus. Each week their physician expert moderator, Dr. Toju Chike-Obi, facilitates an in-depth discussion of a particular medical condition with a guest specialist, and also samples perspectives and myths from their wildly popular “Man on the Street Segment”.

HealthZone is scheduled to premiere on Channels TV, on Thursday 2nd April 2015 at 3:30PM. Thirteen (13) episodes of the show’s first season will then air Thursday 2nd April 2015 at 3:30PM on topics ranging from kidney disease to diabetes and malaria. Notable guests include Dr. Ebun Bamgboye, Dr. Akan Otu, Dr. Efunbo Dosekun, Dr. Yemi Johnson, Dr. Femi Fasanmade, Prof. Frank Ojini and Dr.Chito Nwana.
