A nurse is facing a life imprisonment for admitting the killing of six of her patients in order to reduce her work load.
Vera Maresova, 50, currently refered to as as ‘Nurse Of Death’ from Czech Republic local media, used to be a nurse and works at a hospital in the small town of Rumburk --- but not until she gave deadly doses of potassium to six patients including five women and one man for over four years.
August last year, the woman was apprehended by security operatives over the death of a 70-year-old patient who was poisoned with potassium.
According to a police investigation, she she has also killed five more people between 2010 and 2014.

“All of her victims were elderly and needed intensive treatment" A police spokesman said.
“The woman who was supposed to care for them but instead killed them because she wanted to make life easier for herself. The terrible number of victims is six.
“We do not suspect the nurse committed any more murders.’
Metro UK reported that it has been revealed by the prosecution that Maresova injected the potassium straight into the elderly patients’ blood stream. All were in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
