21 people killed as Egypt, Jordan battles torrential rain
At least 21 people have died and dozens injured as Egypt and Jordan experiences severe weather and heavy rain in the past 48 hours.

Egypt's Ministry of Health said late Thursday that 17 people died and 28 others were injured in Beheira and Gharbiya provinces as a result of the bad weather conditions that hit the country this week.

Last week, five people died in Alexandria after heavy rain flooded homes and caused electric shocks.

Meanwhile, in Jordan, bad weather killed four people, including three Egyptian nationals, two of whom were children.
