Yesterday, Vice President Namadi Sambo was been held hostage by some thugs in Kano state for about 20 minutes at the Bayero University Kano premises---they claimed that the state PDP leader has refused to listen to them....and never cared about them anymore.
An eyewitness who spoke to Bloom Gist' Halima said dozens of heavily armed thugs who claimed to be the loyal party men descende on the security cover that were posted around the VP...and the place went up in caos as they refused to keep calm until they are been listened to.
The eye witness said the thugs in unison chorused on top of there voices “Bamuayi Bamuayi Bamuayi” which meant “we are no longer with you”, while others shouted "mungaji da aiki banza”, meaning ‘we are tired of the job’.
After w while...the embarrassed VP ordered the state party leaders to do their best to address the aggrieved youths...and this made the thugs to drop their arms and follow the convoy of the Vice President.
