Unknown | Monday, May 12, 2014 |

Nigerian goalkeeper Austin Ejide included in the 30-man provisional list for 2014 World Cup suffered an injury in Hapoel Beer Sheva’s match against Hapoel Tel Aviv yesterday.

Vanguard reports that he occasionally injured his hip trying to grasp the ball in the 52nd minute of the game. The pдayer was immediately substituted by Shlomi Ben Hamo.

Unlike it was previously expected, now there are serious doubts over whether Austin Ejide, the understudy of Super Eagles' Vincent Enyeama, would be listed in the 23-man squad to be released in June, as the extent of his injury is not known yet.

The yesterday's game of Israeli league ended with the 2-1 win of Ejide's team.

This season is considered the best in the club's history since winning the domestic title 1976, with Ejide having missed just 27 goals in 33 games.
