Doyin Okupe Explains The Reasons Why Dr Adadevoh's Name Was Not On The List Of Nigerians To Be Honoured With National Award

So many Nigerians and Friends of Nigeria has been asking lots of questions after the release of the name of the people to be honoured with the national award which excludes the Nigerian Female Doctor who died protecting the Country from Ebola, Dr. Adadevoh

A lot of people expressed opinions that Adadevoh, who lost her life to Ebola during the process of taking measures to curb the spread of the disease, should have been included on the list because of her selfless actions.

However, Doyin Okupe, Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to President Jonathan revealed reasons for the non-inclusion via twitter, stating that national honours are not given posthumously:
