Money Speaking! Former Senator Florence Ita-Giwa Budgets N100 Million For Daughter’s Wedding

Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, who is fondly called Mma Bakassi, Former Senator representing Bakassi Federal Constituency in the House of Senate during the first tenure of the President Olusegun Obasanjo regime from 1999 to 2003, will spare no amount to give her pretty daughter, Kokoeka Mayen, a befitting wedding come Saturday, the 13th of September, (traditional marriage) and 20th September, (white wedding) 2014, when she will walk down the aisle with her beau, Chiomaobi Shawcross Obioha Jnr.


According to insiders, the party loving former Senator has budgeted the princely sum of N100 million naira for the carnival like wedding which promises to be the most high profile wedding in Nigeria this year.
The wedding will take place both in Calabar, Cross river State and Lagos, and the huge sum has been earmarked to cover hotel accommodation, transportation, gift items, food, drinks and logistics for the over 1,000 high profile guests who would fly in from parts of the country and overseas for the wedding extravaganza.

According to the invitation cards encased in a luxury packs, the aso ebi which is enclosed goes for N100,000 only per guest, which the honorable senator has paid for already.

We also hear that the luxurious Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, the venue of the wedding, have been fully booked for guests while top Nigerian musicians and comedians have been contracted to perform for her beloved daughter on the day.

Bloomers are you ready to attend the biggest wedding in town? ok,The wedding proper will take place at the Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu, Lagos, by 3 p.m, on the 20th of this month.
