According to Punch reports, Pastor Adeboye who on Friday, January 16 visted Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State stated that politicians deceives their followers in other to get votes
The much respected cleric, who was at the institution for a two-day interdenominational prayer session, also added that politicians are not trustworthy because they don’t fulfill promises made.
“I don’t trust politicians; politicians are liars. They don’t fulfil most of their promises. A politician can tell you that they will give all of you (students) chicken each, which we all know it is impossible,” Adeboye said.The Pastor also urged Nigerians to stop worrying about the outcome of the presidential elections saying that God the “master planner” had already planned the leadership development of Nigeria.
You can recall that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice-Presidential candidate Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is a pastor at the RCCG and is also said to be a close associate of Adeboye’s.
