Unknown | Monday, March 30, 2015 |
After the much and keenly contested elections in Nigeria yesterday, counting of the votes has begtan with Pres. Goodluck Jonathan facing a strong challenge from Muhammadu Buhari, the former military ruler.

INEC has stated that it'd declare the winner on Monday.

UN and the International election observers has praised the poll despite technical hitches, protests and violence linked to Boko Haram.

Voting spilled into a second day in some parts of Nigeria after problems with new electronic card readers.

In other news, it was initially very hard for president Goodluck Jonathan to get his Permanent Voter’s Card matched by his fingerprints as the weird Card Reader failed to work. Another device was brought, still no show but he was later accredited through other means allowed by INEC.
