AFCON 2017 QUALIFIERS: SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA FACES TOUGH TIME AS THEY FACE SIX-TIME AFRICAN CHAMPIONS

The Senior team, the Super Eagles, may have been positioned a a losing lane by placed in the same group with six-ti​m​e African champions in AFCON qualifying matches.

During the AFCON qualifiers draws which took place yesterday, Wednesday 8th April 2015 in Cairo Ehypt, the Super Eagles who were one of the top seeded teams​,​ were placed in Group G alongside Tanzania, Egypt, and Chad.
While Egypt on paper looks like the only threat to Nigeria in the qualifying group, some fans say the recent form of the Nigeria​n​ national team leaves much to be desired having suffered shocking defeats ​at​ the hands of lowly-rated teams like Congo, Sudan and most recently Uganda.

The group winners and two best second placed teams join hosts Gabon for the tournament proper
