When signed, Keshi will return as Super Eagles head couch after his initial contract with the NFA expired after the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Mohammed Sanusi, the Secretary-General of the NFA, told newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday that the contract which would be signed on Friday, would see the coach put pen to paper on his new job.
“By the grace of God on Friday the Super Eagles team will have a coach. Nigerians have been very patient with this issue, so, it’s just only two days remaining for the coach to sign a contract. We cannot announce a coach without signing a contract,’’ Sanusi said.
The NFA boss also stated that efforts were being intensified to sign a new kit sponsorship deal to boost the signing of a coaching deal for the Super Eagles.
“We are working assiduously to ensure we get a kit company that will sponsor our teams. It is not good to disclose the level of discussion with the would-be companies until the deal is finally struck,’’ he added.
