Through a statement made by Dele Alonge, the Nigerian Air Force spokesperson, the helicopter, which suffered severe damage, was returning to the Apron after the completion of the training exercise when it crashed due to hydraulic failure while on taxi to the hanger.
Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosun has ordered a torough investigation on the course of the incident --- and we learnt that no casualty was recorded during the crash.
