A Queens-born rapper Lionel Pickens popularly known as Chinx Drugz, was killed Sunday morning just after 4 a.m. while he sat in a Porsche in an early morning drive-by shooting
Pickens, 31, years old, and another individual was shot when the victims were driving a Porche in Jamaica Queens, New York City. Another vehicle pulled up and fired multiple shots. Pickens was shot multiple times in the torso.
The unidentified passenger was shot in the back and is in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital.
Pickens was a member of rapper French Montana's crew Coke Boys. His most known single is "I'm a Coke Boy" featuring the French Montana. Other members of the Coke Boys include Flip, Cheeze, and Charlie Rock.
The 31-year-old, who was part of French Montana's Coke Boys group, died in hospital.
The attack unfolded at 4am in the Jamaica neighbourhood of the city's Queens borough.
Police said Pickens and another man were in the car when a vehicle pulled up alongside and an attacker opened fire.
At least seven bullet holes pierced the front and rear driver-side windows of the silver Porsche Panamera 4 ... The 27-year-old passenger in the car with Pickens is in a critical condition in hospital with gunshot wounds.
No arrests have yet been made.
