Breaking: Gun shots trailing US Consulate in Istanbul
Two assailants have engaged in a gunfight with security personnel as they opened fire at the US Consulate building in Istanbul and, local media said.
The incident came hours after a bomb attack at a police station in Istanbul injured 10 people, including seven police officers.

Dogan news agency said no one was hurt in the attack on the consulate on Monday morning and the two assailants managed to escape.

The reports said that one attacker was male and the other female, adding that the police was searching for the suspects.
