At Least 10 houses burnt as fuel trailer fall in Aba

At least 10 houses has been burnt to ashes as a trailer carrying fuel mistakenly hit a road divider on main road, Eye witness told Bloom Gist.

The incident happened at Aba/Owerri road, Abayi, Aba, Abia State.

According to the eye witness, the fire started when the fuel in the trailer started pouring after the career hit the block while trying to discharge product at a nearby filling station.

More than 10 houses were burnt to ashes including a Sienna car, tricycle and other goods worth millions of Naira.

A woman suffering from high blood pressure was rushed to the hospital after she developed stroke on seeing the damages caused by the fire.

Also a driver that was running for safety hit a little child who died on the spot.

According to the reporter, the state fire fighters arrived after the damage has been done and the fire stopped.
